Job DutiesGeisinger, a national leader in healthcare innovation and technology, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care trained physician for an exciting opportunity at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. There is also a strong sleep presence for those boarded in and who also want to practice sleep medicine.
At a Glance:
1 week ICU 12-hour days (7 days…mostly days. Some swings/nights).2 -3 days off1 week inpatient consults, studies, etc 8-hour days (5 days…days only). Call from home2 weeks clinic 8-hour days (volume: 12-14 patients/day) Read PFT’s (pulmonary function tests)Receive both clinical and academic titles upon startTeach residents and medical students as well as participate in scholarly activities, interdisciplinary programs, committees and researchCompetitive compensation package with $30k start incentiveIncredible Benefits:
