Position Summary

The Electrophysiology Technician is an ideal opportunity at MultiCare to provide quality care within the cardiac cath and electrophysiology labs. This position offers you the capacity to provide technical support and assistance while you ensure the comfort and well-being of the patient and family.

Responsibilities

You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room You will assist the Registered Nurses in providing patient care as needed You will perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation assuring that it is reflective of patient needs, and actions taken You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment You will assist physicians in administering contrast media

Requirements

Certification of Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry as a standard for care provision, previous experience and RCES registry or commitment to obtain within six (6) months of employment Certification of AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.72 - $80.53 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
