Purpose of Role: As the Pump and Valve Sales Manager with an unwavering ability to develop, deliver and implement strategic and sustainable value propositions to customers, you will see your efforts reflected in the growing relationships brought to the Weir business.

Leading a dynamic Sales team, you will provide support and drive customer satisfaction, further growing the service and supply sales across the East Region for Weir Pumps and Valves.

Be able to work with a broad spectrum of customers, both internal and external, to develop long term value propositions for major mining projects while demonstrating Weir's commitment to sustainability and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the team to achieve set KPI sales targets across all areas required, ensuring accountability within each individuals role.Identify and act upon opportunities which support business growthCommunicate and facilitate marketing changes within the CompanyFostering development of new and creative products and services.Achievement  of Sales team KPI’s (financial and non-financial)Leading and developing all aspects of the sales processes, commercial and legal negotiations an sales tools such as SalesForce CRMSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or similar disciplineWell-developed written and verbal communications skillsExperience working within mining and/or processing industries preferrableKnowledge with SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft office programs (excel, word )Experience leading and mentoring a teamPrevious experience with valves – highly desirableHold a current drivers licence
