Job Title: Mechanic - Electric Motors & Pump Repair\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPerform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electric motors and pump systems.\nWork on systems related to wastewater, water, and fire FDCs.\nConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.\nDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in pump and motor systems.\nRead and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.\nCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of equipment.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulations.\nDocument all maintenance and repair activities accurately.\nQualifications:\n\nProven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.\nStrong knowledge of electric motors, pump systems, and related equipment.\nExperience with wastewater, water systems, and fire FDCs is highly desirable.\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with 24V systems and PLC experience is a plus.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently.\nGood communication skills and ability to work in a team.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nAbility to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.\nAbility to work in various environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
