Volt is immediately hiring a Remote PUR Sourcing Associate in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. In this support role you will follow generally defined procedures and provide analytical skills to position.

This is a first shift role.

\r\n\r\n

As a PUR Sourcing Associate you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDevelop and Implement global sourcing strategies for assigned categories (Information Technology) to ensure business continuity and value creation. \r\n\tEstablish and Manage supplier relationships that ensure cost and service benefits to the corporation.\r\n\tNegotiate and Establish effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best-in-class service\r\n\tCollaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities for the successful integration of the sourcing strategies for the assigned categories (Information Technology) as well as overall sourcing guidelines and processes.\r\n\tLead complex projects as well as initiatives that have a high value and broad implication to the corporation.\r\n\tFill customer orders in accordance with specifications on order form. Prepares items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the transportation of products, and loads and unloads trucks, railway cars, or/or aircraft.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Estimated Duration 12+ months.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s degree\r\n\t10 years of negotiating IT Software Contracts\r\n\tBasic data entry skills and computer proficiency preferred.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $65.00-68.70 hr.
