Volt is immediately hiring a Remote PUR Sourcing Associate in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. In this support role you will follow generally defined procedures and provide analytical skills to position.

This is a first shift role.

\r\n\r\n

As a PUR Sourcing Associate you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDevelop and Implement global sourcing strategies for assigned categories (Information Technology) to ensure business continuity and value creation. \r\n\tEstablish and Manage supplier relationships that ensure cost and service benefits to the corporation.\r\n\tNegotiate and Establish effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best-in-class service\r\n\tFill customer orders in accordance with specifications on order form. \r\n\r\n\r\n

Estimated Duration 6-12 months

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s degree OR\r\n\t3 years working on terms and conditions in contracts (freight and warehousing)\r\n\tExcel skills\r\n\tInternational is a plus (but not mandatory) as you will be working with the Logistics Procurement Leads in Ireland, South Korea, and the United States\r\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $27.48 hr.
