PUR Sourcing Associate

Volt is immediately hiring a Purchasing Sourcing Associate in Springfield, Missouri with a well-known industry leader. In this support role you will follow generally defined procedures and provide analytical skills to position.

\r\n\r\n

This is a first shift role.

\r\n\r\n

As a PUR Sourcing Associate you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tReceives report of Late Purchase Orders to follow up with suppliers, adjusts Purchase Order due dates. \r\n\tEnter SCARs with provided information. \r\n\tWork Short Order list for Master Data maintenance / cleanup. \r\n\tSupport shipping engineering samples. \r\n\tEnter product information into computer database and verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments.\r\n\tBasic data entry skills and computer proficiency required.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Estimated Duration 6-12 months

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma with 1-2 years in similar position\r\n\tBachelor’s Degree is preferred\r\n\tAccurate Data Entry Skills\r\n\tExperience working with purchase orders\r\n\tMicrosoft Office\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $27.48 hr.
