You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth operations by working closely with vendors and internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** + Coordinate inbound materials with Production and Logistics to meet Sales Production plans. + Monitor and maintain inventory levels to avoid shortages. + Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery. + Update SAP with delivery dates, quantities, and costs. + Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. + Collaborate with plant teams to address inventory and delivery concerns. + Support continuous improvement initiatives and help meet plant KPIs related to production and inventory. + Ensure materials meet quality standards, working closely with suppliers and the quality team to resolve any non-conformances. + Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company policies and procedures. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Associate’s degree preferred, or High School diploma with relevant experience. + **Experience:** 2+ years in a purchasing or related role, ideally in the automotive industry. + **Skills:** + Strong written and verbal communication. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP. + Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.
