What you'll do as: Purchasing Agent
- Review and process purchase requisitions
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
- Analyze and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received
- Forecast upcoming demand and manage inventory levels
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might:
- Proven work experience as a purchasing agent
- Strong understanding of supply chain management concepts
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
