POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for acting as our Projects Onsite Project Purchasing Agent work to include fulfilling material orders, take offs, will call orders, data entry, expediting, invoicing errors and other duties that the Project Executive and Purchasing Manager determines that needs support

 

 

What you’ll do:

On-site Project Purchasing and placing orders.

Partners with suppliers to follow-up on delivery dates and back orders. Tracks the status of all back orders and informs appropriate team members and departments of any issues.

Maintains current and accurate files of suppliers pricing within the ERP system and purchasing spreadsheets. Utilizing COINS ERP

Processing material receivers. Coordinates bulk deliveries of rough products, to meet deadlines.

Processing material returns and credits.

Supports the RFQ, RFP Order / Track onsite rental equipment

Assist  Manage  PM’s / PE’s with equipment purchases.  

Processes to obtain product information such as pricing, availability, and delivery schedule.

 

 What you’ll need to be successful:

High school degree or G.E.D required

Minimum 5-7 yearsexperience in purchasing or customer service support

Understanding of purchasing practices and systems preferred

Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while planning and executing timely, effectively, efficiently, and accurately

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, quality oriented, and strong attention to detail required

Experience with Microsoft Suite- specifically Excel, data base software, and experience using ERP software. (COINS preferred)

Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment

Ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, project management team, field staff, and accounting in a team environment.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay:  Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington) this ranges from $80,000.00-$90,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
