Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent role in Miami, Florida. This position is within the supply chain industry and will involve managing purchasing operations and maintaining vendor relations. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and prepare purchase orders for equipment, supplies, and services. • Maintain and update records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements. • Engage with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and monitor deliveries. • Assist in evaluating the performance of vendors and negotiating contracts. • Adhere to procurement policies and budgetary guidelines to ensure compliance. • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill purchasing needs. • Keep inventory records updated to prevent overstock or shortages. • Address and resolve any discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries. • Assist in preparing reports on procurement activities and conducting cost analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for effective financial management. • Familiarity with Epicor, as it is essential for managing business operations. • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary for effective resource management. • Knowledge of ERP Solutions is crucial for streamlining business processes.
