What you will do:

Display the ability to understand all lines assigned to purchase, to build the best relationship with the vendors and to ensure all daily commitments to the branches are met including, but not limited to, inventory replenishment and branch requests.Knowledgeable of reviewing items for replenishment from vendors and expediting vendor POs.Ability to understand and manage to specific inventory and service related KPI’s such as Inventory Investment and DOI.Ability to forecast future demand using analytical tools such as Excel and Access.Understands the various types of DC programs (sole, primary, alternate) and uses the tools to maximize the branch compliance.Works with Vendor Costing to ensure costing is up to date with costs & quotes.Understands impact of A/P to PO variances and works with Finance to resolve effectivelyConsistently displays a customer service attitude toward the branches and demonstrates ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to meet the customer/branch expectations.Represents the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service.Abides by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures.

What you will bring:

Post Secondary education in Business Administration or related fielda minimum of two (2) years related experience in purchasingCSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professional) Certification is an assetWorking knowledge of Syntax and WMS High Jump is an assetProficiency using a variety of Microsoft Office applications including:Strong understanding of Microsoft OutlookStrong understanding of Microsoft ExcelBasic understanding of Microsoft AccessWorking knowledge of purchasing, warehouse and inventory control policies, processes and proceduresFluency in both French and English would be an asset.
