Purchasing Assistant | $20/hr | Monday-Friday 7am-4pm  What Matters MostCompetitive Pay of $20 per hour plus additional compensationSchedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pmLocation: Irving, TXTemporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stabilityWeekly Pay with direct deposit or pay cardWhen you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description The Purchasing Assistant (PA) is responsible for all aspects of LOC operating systems, accurate take-off entry and take-off maintenance.  Additional duties are maintaining standardized cost codes, item codes, item pricing, and any task related to generating a lot start package in support of the division(s) they are assigned to.    Responsibilities:Monitor home site (lot) budgeting process to create budgets in compliance with projected start dates.Includes reviewing final budgets & start packages for accuracy.Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve any take-off / budget problems.Correct problem commitments (Purchase orders, POs) in JDE, including take-off changes from the division(s).Work with Suppliers/Trade Partners to resolve old invoices as necessary.Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within their division(s) of responsibility.Set-up and maintain plan take-off information, including complete entry for new and revised plans.Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office environmentComputer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  JD Edwards experience preferred.Professionally perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.  Be a team player with ability to work under pressure.Benefits and Perks:$20/hrMedical Benefits HolidaysTraining & Growth Your New Organization:A nationally recognized homebuilder, this company is known for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The base pay range for this position is $20/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
