Job title: Purchasing Clerk

Location:  JBS Omaha Beef Plant

Reporting to:  Purchasing Supervisor

 

Essential Job Functions:

Receiving supplies into store room as they are brought inDistributing supplies to individuals that are coming in for suppliesPerform cycle counts and audits as needed to maintain inventory accuracyVerify physical counts of inventory identifying variances from previous dayAssist in maintaining chemical inventoryAll other duties as assigned by Purchasing Supervisor or Manager

 

Experience Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not requiredExperience working with inventory preferred but not requiredSAP experience preferred but not required

 

Skills/Abilities Required:

Knowledge and understanding of all purchasing and safety policiesGood phone etiquetteStrong organizational skillsGeneral mathematical skillsMust have good oral and written communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeMust be able to lift 25 pounds or moreMust be able to work flexible hours primarily 6pm– 6am- including weekends
