Purchasing Clerk

The Purchasing Clerk will assist the site in providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. This position is primarily responsible for assisting procurement with day to day needs for material and other administrative tasks, along with our AP invoicing administration.  Under direct supervision, this function will complete defined tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures requiring some problem-solving skills and will support the general business operations by providing administrative support activities such as data entry, reporting, and basic analysis requiring attention to detail. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Daily work CCP requisitions as needed for miscellaneous material orders 

Investigates and resolves invoice issues in our Dataserv System 

Work Open order cleanup & clearing 

Organize & Prioritize Daily activities to ensure deadlines meet. 

Works with Commercial Accounting Manager/Site Superintendent/Construction Managers to resolve issues for AP and Procurement 

Assists management with ad-hoc requests, including special projects and initiatives. 

Observes and complies with all safety rules. 

Performs other related duties as required and assigned. 

  
Job Requirements: 

Minimum of 1 year of experience material procurement 

Prior accounts payable experience recommended   

Maintain confidentiality regarding Customer, Client and employee information. 

The ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment. 

Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing quality work in a timely manner. 

Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills required. 

Must be able to work under pressure. 

Must be able to work individually and in a team. 

  
Technical Knowledge and Skills: 

Proficient in Microsoft Excel. 

Day to day working knowledge of SAP ERP preferred.
