**_POSITION SUMMARY:_** The Purchasing Coordinator monitors and participates in the procurement processes and functions needed to support the manufacturing and aftermarket efforts of White River Marine Group. **_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_** + Purchase items not normally procured by basecamp to include warranty, service and MRO. + Follow up purchase orders. + Monitors shortage and exception reporting to identify and execute expedite needs. + Process new part request. + Communicate issues with vendors. + Contact and set up new vendors. + Communicates aspect of procurement functions with cross functional business units, including: Logistics, Inventory Control, Sourcing, Engineering, Bill of Materials, and Accounting teams. + Assist with Vendor Maintained Inventory + ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED **_EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_** + Minimum Degree Required: _________ High School Diploma or Equivalent ________ + Experience: ___4__ years of experience in Purchasing **_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:_** + Familiar with KBM + Excellent computer skills + Excellent communication skills + Ability to work independently when required **_PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:_** Regularly sits and does computer work.
