ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately enter a high volume of alpha & numeric data into Edge, a web base program. Entry of purchase orders, subcontracts, change order requests etc. Acquire necessary information for new vendor & subcontractor set-up. Invoice research, follow-up, and entry. Respond to questions from vendors & co-workers at all levels including management. Assume any other job responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the department or company. Call vendors for invoice collection. Assist management and purchasing agents with additional duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must have basic computer skills with a minimum 2 years’ data entry experience with a typing speed of 40 wpm minimum. Must be self-motivated. Must be detail oriented and well organized. Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently. Must be able to handle large amounts of paperwork in a busy environment with many distractions. Microsoft Excel experience a plus, but not required.  Adobe Acrobat experience is helpful but not required.
