Your Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas within the purchasing process that can be optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Implement best practices and lean methodologies to streamline operations. support to conduct regular reviews of purchasing activities to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Data and Performance Management:

Support the Data and Performance Management team to improve the existing reporting system in Power BI. Assist in creating new reports that provide actionable insights to help teams make informed decisions. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data management practices.

Collaboration and Capabilities improvement:

Assess the skills and capabilities of the purchasing team and identify areas for development. Implement performance improvement plans, onboarding plans and provide coaching to help team members achieve their goals. Ensure the accessibility and inortmation sharing of the trainings, tools and processes to the Purchasing team Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the purchasing team and other departments. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive overall business success.

Innovation and Digital solutions:

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that can enhance purchasing operations. Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging team members to propose and implement new ideas. Collaborate with other departments to integrate innovative solutions Implement and manage the implementation of new digital tools and platforms that support purchasing activities. Explore the AI opportunities in Purchasing

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such delivery Risks, Financial risks etc.. and regulatory changes. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks. Monitor the external environment for emerging risks and adjust strategies accordingly Your Qualifications University degree in Economics/Business Administration or Finance/Controlling or Supply Chain or equivalent. Master Degree is a plus. 3 to 5 years of experience in Purchasing or equivalent Experience within a network organization   High proficiency in verbally and written Communicating skills on an international basis   High ability and willingness to approach other persons and cultures in an unbiased and open manner and to  work with their opinions and expectations.   Good interpersonal skills (curious, open minded, agility to engage people)   Good organizational and planning skills   Independent working style   Strategic thinking   Understand easily complex business matters   Ability to deliver results under pressure   Team player attitude, friendly and service oriented   Can treat information with highest degree of confidentiality   Fluency in written and spoken English  Independent and responsible way of working as well as a quick comprehension  Assertiveness combined with analytical and conceptual skills
