The Purchasing Intern will collaborate with a team to support site buyers of raw materials and assist in improving the purchasing process. The position will aid the Purchasing team in developing process improvements by drawing conclusions from analysis.

Your Day to Day:

Purchasing Analysis, Support and Reporting Lead and support sourcing initiatives for Raw Materials Maintain appropriate inventory levels / safety stock levels consistent with targeted inventory goals to support the customer as set by management. Ensure stock status is reviewed and acted on routinely to ensure requisitions are placed in a timely fashion. Pro-actively communicate with internal customers when issues arise Maintain, and manage specific Purchasing/procurement reporting, including but not limited to purchasing KPI’s, SAP data, etc.
