Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Manager experienced in supply chain management and procurement for overseeing purchasing functions and supplier relationships.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience

3+ years purchasing management experience in a manufacturing environment

Comprehensive understanding of integrated supply chain management principles and practices

Preferred Skills:

Thorough understanding of selecting and building appropriate supply strategies

Job Responsibilities:

Manage internal and external customer/supplier relationships

Measure performance of the supply base and ensure reporting processes are in place

Develop strategically integrated sourcing strategies

Leverage total cost reductions and quality improvement recommendations

Evaluate new material, supply, and service developments

Review and interpret supplier contracts

Oversee approval and control of the purchasing function of the facility

Monitor quality resolution mechanisms to ensure they are effective

Perform full range of managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, coaching, developing employees, planning, assigning work, EEO/AA compliance, performance management, department budgeting

Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
