EnviroTech Molded Products, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a keen eye for detail, exceptional negotiation skills, and experience managing procurement operations in a manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities + Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of materials and supplies that meet our quality standards and cost objectives. + Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and resolve any issues related to procurement. + Inventory Control:Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that production schedules are met without excess or shortages. Develop and implement inventory control procedures. + Cost Management:Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and manage budgets for procurement activities. + Quality Assurance:Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all purchased materials meet the company’s quality standards and specifications. + Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with production needs and operational goals. + Reporting:Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels to senior management. + Compliance:Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Requirements Qualifications + Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field plus 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement preferredOR + High school diploma plus 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. + Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms. + Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for procurement and inventory management. + Ability to analyze data and trends to forecast purchasing needs. + Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
