Hi-Line is a nationwide distributor of over 100,000+ industrial aftermarket products across industries like transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, and heavy equipment. This person should be a highly skilled professional who is able to lead a team, be in the details, work effectively with various levels of the organization to get things done, and help strategize our long-range business plan. We’re looking for a leader to improve processes and continue to grow market share as well as someone who enjoys learning and training others. Essential Duties & Responsibilities :  + Create daily purchases of inventory based on demand to prevent back orders. + Maintain and adjust lead times of inventory from suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of replenishment stock. + Responsible for researching and evaluating suppliers based on quality, price, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and supplier’s reputation. + Contribute to Product meetings. + Awareness to respond to changing conditions in product supply as well as commodity and market trends affecting pricing and availability.   + Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. + Resolve pricing/receipt and other variances from suppliers. + Communicate with suppliers and problem solve situations. + Build and share weekly reporting to track current state and identify future challenges. + Strong ability to source new products and vendors and effectively integrating those new products with existing offerings to provide more value. + Ability to understand and process analysis done by Inventory Management to reset parameters such as lead time and min/max levels.
