The Procurement Manager is responsible for to managing the procurement needs for the UK(Cambridge) and US(Eugene/Waltham) sites with the support of 3 procurement coordinators. This position reports to the Senior Global Procurement Director and is part of the procurement team located in Waltham or Cambridge and will be on-site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Manage ERP(Oracle) procurement daily activities including purchase orders, requisitions new supplier on-boarding + Lead deployment/design of ERP Enhancements the resolution of ERP procurement incidents. + Manage the procurement of all direct consumables across the UK and US and lead supplier relations with top spend suppliers + Identify, negotiate and deliver cost savings back to the business + Responsible for the managing, coaching and leading 3 Procurement Coordinators. + Ensure timely reporting of global procurement KPIs and other business metrics/reports. + Ensure procurement processes and BAU’s compliance with Quality policies, SOX regulations and SOPs at a site level The essential requirements of the job include: + A bachelor's degree in a business-related field like supply chain management, business administration, procurement or equivalent + 5 years of experience in procurement roles, including experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis + 3 years’ experience in leadership and people management + Several years of experience using procurement ERPs + Experience in SRM( Supplier relationship Management) and Contract management + Certified by a professional procurement body CIPS, CIPM,CIPP, NGIP.. ( Preferred not required) It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Life Sciences Industry + Oracle Cloud procurement applications + Sustainable procurement Join our winning team today.
