Coordinate and assist with the operations of the Purchasing Department to ensure that all departments of the hotel have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner.

Departmental
To work in close coordination with Chef and the Food & Beverage Director to purchase the highest quality products while constantly searching for the lowest price.
Prepare the purchase order after purchase requisition is approved, and coordinate with vendor/s for the timely delivery, in accordance of the user requirement in the Hotel.
Carrying the check at the time of receiving of the purchasing items, and conducting market survey.
Ensure that all items received by the hotel are properly documented in accordance with Four Seasons purchasing and receiving procedures.
Assist in purchases related to capital projects with the corporate Purchasing Department as well as outside contractors.
Performs any additional duties as assigned
Special Requirements
Diploma Level required with relevant (operations, business) field of study preferred along with knowledge of the industry, wholesaling and retailing practices.
1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar function. Prior experience within hotel industry would be an advantage.
Computer literate, with high competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).
“Hand on” approach to all tasks.
Full Driving License required.
