Purchasing Supervisor

**Location:** San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato.
**Work Mode:** Onsite
**Opportunity:**
Supervise and determine appropriate inventory levels of raw materials supplied by external suppliers or Kohler plant subsidiaries, as well as coordinate the supply of non-productive materials or indirect materials, spare parts and services, in accordance with the policies of the Kohler global procurement manual.
**Specific Responsabilities:**
+ Coordinate activities related to the annual raw material inventory and cycle counts to minimize variations between physical and system inventories, as well as reduce the possibility of material shortages.
+ Define methods and routes to obtain more efficient ways to dispose of materials in order to optimize costs, transit times, lot sizes, etc.
+ Coordinate a weekly follow-up meeting to update material scope based on customer needs, changes in the production schedule, or MPS updates to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
+ Seek cost-saving opportunities, whether through alternative new developments, transportation methods, reduction in inventory levels, etc., in order to generate financial gain for the finished product.
+ Ensure follow-up on all requirements from the different areas in the plant, including services and indirect materials.
+ Supervise or negotiate commercial agreements.
+ Drive continuous improvement in the quality of products or services contracted.
**Education:**
Bachelor's degree completed in administrative areas, logistics, materials engineering, or related field.
**Experience:**
5 years as supervisor of purchasing direct and indirect materials, raw materials, inventories, and/or supply chain.
**Languages:**
Spanish - English Fluent.
**Software Proficiency:**
Microsoft Office, SAP
