WHAT WE PROVIDE:
This is a year round part-time with benefits position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Purchasing & Warehouse Department is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to support daily warehouse operations by being responsible for all Food Inventory Purchases and all weekly Food Inventory procedures, related files and transactions. You will play an active role in supplying our park staff the resources to provide a first class guest experience.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT: Responsible for purchasing inventory and non-inventory products to ensure uninterrupted Park support Obtain quotes, process department purchase orders, complete purchase and requisition of materials and services Maintain vendor Certificate of Insurance Database, ensuring compliance Source new items and accurately set up of new accounts Maintain required W-9’s, Certificate of Insurances, Material Safety Data Sheets, and negotiate Net 30 terms Resolve receiving discrepancies Coordinate with corporate purchasing, requestor and receiving for exchange or return of product Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate payments Assist in posting EATEC inventory management software requisitions for all inventories Audit warehouse inventories – Work with Warehouse leaders to increase accuracy and minimize variances/shrink Assist in culinary, maintenance spare parts and retail inventories
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Be at least 18 years of age Experience in warehouse, inventory, receiving or purchasing department ideal – theme park industry a plus Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, vibrant team environment General knowledge or willingness to learn EATEC, APTOS and MAXIMO inventory management systems Possess a valid driver’s license Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format Must be able to work a schedule averaging a minimum of 30+ hours per week Available to work most weekends and holidays, as well as evenings Flexible and adaptable to change - able and willing to assist in other aspects of Warehouse operations
OTHER NOTES: May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole Reports to Warehouse Leadership
