About the Role

As Pursuit Manager you will be responsible for growing CAM VW business to meet customer specific booking targets. You will engage with the customer in an early stage to create business opportunities and drive these opportunities with healthy commercials to award.

What You Will Do

Execute the pursuit strategy for new business opportunities in alignment with the customer account strategy.Identify and create new pursuits and drive early engagement activities including “war gaming” and 10 standardsOwn RFI/RFQ response for new business opportunities and be responsible for the quote as well as for commercial sourcing negotiations with the customerCreate game-changing unique selling proposition and value statementsUnderstand customer expectations (cost, requirements, timing) and define internal targets to meet themIdentify key stakeholders and decision makers and develop strategies to win new business

What You Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering3-5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in AutomotiveExperience or strong affinity with harman portfolio (Intelligent Cockpit, Connectivity, Car Audio) across HW and SW domainsThorough understanding of P&L statements, business cases and quotesStrong hunting, influence and negotiation skillsFluent German is a pre-requisite

What is Nice to Have

Basic technical understanding of Automotive HW and SW systemsUnderstanding of Automotive OEM’s organization and processesExperience within or working with VW group brands
