PV Maintenance Engineer | Central Luzon

Job Description

The PV Maintenance Engineer is the principal member of the O&M services staff and, as such, assists the Plant Engineer in the operation and service functions of the PV plant delegated to them. The primary responsibility of the PV Maintenance Engineer is for the maintenance services, execution, inspection, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of the work safely, with quality, and within schedule and budget objectives. The PV Maintenance Engineer also ensures that all engineering disciplines are met with the customer criteria and its scope of work. The PV Maintenance Engineer is functionally reporting to the Plant Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Performing daily operation or task management functions as delegated by the Plant Engineer, including customer liaison, coordination of technicals, assisting the Plant Engineer in PV plant initiation activities, and in preparation of the operation and maintenance planning. Meetings, general PV plant operation, maintenance, inspection, supervision, and coordination. Monitor and report PV plant operations, and preventive, and corrective maintenance activities against schedule and plan. Executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the PV plant. Coordinating all technical reviews both with stakeholders and internally within the PV plant. Regularly provides clear reports to management and clients. Effective communication with the operations team, OEM, and third parties regarding technical and operational specification and requirements of the solar PV power plant. Accurate, timely, and effective reporting to the Plant Engineer.

Other Related Tasks

Complies with company policies and procedures, safety rules and practices. Conforms to the company’s Integrated Management Systems, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines. Reports any Integrated Management System events/incidents or potential events or other risks to the organization Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference by: Storing documents, forms, contracts, manuals, books and other documents to locked storage rooms/steel cabinets. Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all plant records necessary for operations. Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.
