Job Description

Job Summary:

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a PVC Fence Product/Sales Manager for our facility located in Richmond, KY. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Product/Sales Manager will be the primary point of contact for PVC Fence Sales.

 

Responsibilities:

Drive sales and develop new customersPromote Wheatland/Maverick as a market leader in providing quality PVC Fence solutionsBe a premier PVC Fence specialist that customers look to for guidance on product questions and supportManage customer relationships and expectationsManage customer pricing levelsDevelop and manage sales forecasts – volume and priceUnderstand plant production schedules, capabilities and capacityManage the order book to maximize production and shipments

 

Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of extrusions and PVC Fence specifically5+ years of PVC Fence Sales experiencePost-secondary degree with studies in business, accounting, or finance preferredFamiliarity with Business ERP System(s) is preferred (i.e. SAP )Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customersAbility to travel to customer locations and job sites as neededStrong motivational and leadership skillsDetailed orientated and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent mathematical aptitudeLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
