PWS Project Engineer

Responsible for technical validating of customers' OVATION applications and integrating it into a comprehensive solution; To support the technical execution from the internal handover meeting until the closure meeting with the client, aligning with the dates defined in the project schedule (in agreement with the PM and LT).

The engineer could be the main contact with the customer's technical counterpart, so this position demands dedication and the ability to travel regularly to customer sites. Identifies and notifies the Project Manager (PM) of the impact on time and materials due to scope changes requested by the client; technically coordinates subcontractors and equipment suppliers; supports procurement activities and supports general engineering tasks.


In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Responsible to deliver on time a quality product that meets customer requirements and specifications with the efficient use of resources, following the PMO guidelines and local standards.

Ability to work on short-term assigned projects. Help in testing specified hardware and software deployments. Participate in system installation and field start-up. Works in preparation of submittal information for customer approval. Ability to work with Hardware integration, and basic notions on systems’ integration. Assists in reviewing scopes of work for completeness.  Prepare Design Documents and Specifications. Prepare Test Procedures. Attend meetings with customers for clarification and complete design. Coordinate efforts with other Engineering Centers' resources. Participate in all FAT and SAT procedures, even as responsible. Assist in the integration, and unit testing of a control system and assist in software validation and deployment. Provide regular updates on progress and issues to the line manager on assigned engineering and support activities. Verify the project scope and its results regarding the Control System to fulfill the contractual scope of the project. Acquires the written approval from the customer for the Design Documents needed to release material, procurement, and trigger activities such as configuration and cabinet assembly.

For This Role, You Will Need: Education. Bachelor´s degree in Electronics, Control, Automation, Systems, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Robotics or equivalent. Prefered Experience. 3+ years as a project engineer configuring systems or other control / PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces, field instrumentation, or process control communication protocols. (We evaluate Profiles  Desirable experience in field activities as part of process automation projects. In Networking and communication protocols. English B1 or technician fluency
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: The Systems Engineer should be a self-starter and a fast learner to learn from Senior Engineers and Lead Engineers. The position requires working in a team environment with supervision from the Lead/Engineering Manager.
