Job description

Infosys is seeking a Python Technology Analyst. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Key Responsibilities:Participate and contribute to the requirements elicitation process and create requirements documentationCreate design artifacts and support prototyping through creation of POCsDeliver high quality code deliverables and support peers in quality checks such that design requirements are met. Create user documentation for the assigned modulesPerform validation activities for the assigned modules for all types of testing e.g., Functional, Integration, System, User Experience etc.Support the creation of “Go Live” plan and manage assigned activities in the planPerform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on appropriate solutionsParticipate in Knowledge Transfer sessions, prepare system appreciation documents and support the transition processConduct impact analysis of issues logged, prioritize and ensure that production support is provided as per committed SLAsRequired Qualifications:Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.At least 2 years of Information Technology experienceAt least 2 years of experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in Python, especially Python server-side backend programmingGood understanding of OOPS conceptsStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scriptingPreferred Qualifications:Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practicesStrong knowledge in RESTful APIs, Data structures, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading and memory management and concurrencyKnowledge in AIML (MLOps), LLM, Generative AIKnowledge in Big data ecosystem using Hadoop, Spark, Scala using Python packages and libraries for large scale dataGood understanding of Agile software development frameworksExperience in Banking domainStrong communication and Analytical skillsAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teamsExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
