Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team, focusing on developing new software and enhancing existing code. This role involves integrating open-source software solutions for testing and maintaining various programs. You should be proficient in multiple programming languages and capable of updating, maintaining, and repairing existing software systems.

Our new development projects primarily use Python, including making calls to external programs and interfacing with Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) jobs and processes. Currently, the main objective is to develop and provide a user-friendly interface to schedule Jenkins jobs and monitor their progress and output.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 7 or more years software engineering / programming /development experience . Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the intelligence community customer. In lieu of bachelors degree, an additional 4 years of software engineering/programming/development experience will be considered on a case by case basis

Proficiency in Linux.

Strong experience in Python, with a focus on modules and API interface calls.

Expertise in Bash/Shell scripting.

Clearance Required:  Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Familiarity with:

Elasticsearch and Logstash (ELK stack).

Apache NiFi.

Jenkins Application Programming Interface (API).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Ruby.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment for documentation and administrative tasks.

Knowledge of Linux security certificates.

Familiarity with web development tools, such as Django or similar frameworks.
