I have a client that has a need for a QA Analyst / Tester who will spend 60% of their time completing Analyst role and 40% completing the tester role. The qualified candidate must be technically savvy, able to learn new software quickly, as this person will be learning the Logix package which is not a commonly used tool. The QA analyst role is responsible for system validation, developing test plans for new features, and keeping repeatable scripts current. The tester portion of this position executes repeatable, documented scripts in the store lab and fills other repeatable workflows as needed.
This position must perform the following functions:
a.) Manage work load and priorities with the other QA Analysts/testers on team
b.) Understand new features and functionality of software quickly and effectively
c.) Build test plans for new features and new functionality
d.) Incorporate new feature deliverables into existing test scripts
