QA AND MEDICAL RECORDS ANALYST

The Quality Assurance and Medical Records Analyst will focus on the development and implementation of systems for the analysis, reporting and utilization of data and records management to improve organizational performance and efficiency. This will be accomplished through analyzing data and risk from a variety of sources, both internal and external. It will also entail working with program staff, committee members, performance improvement teams and other staff members to help them make use of existing systems, collect and utilize data.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

1. Develop and support and improve data collection systems

2. Analyze Quality Assurance and related data, in order to produce graphic, tabular and narrative reports for organizational needs

3. Track Quality Improvement Initiatives corporately

4. Provide consultation, technical support and training to programs, services, committees and quality improvement teams in relation to data analysis, reporting and performance improvement

5. Develop, manage and provide upkeep to databases and data collection systems

6. Communicate and coordinate with MIS regarding information technology issues

7. Develop new SharePoint databases and redesign existing databases as needed

8. Support corporate data collection and reporting systems

9. Provide support to accreditation activities

10. Coordinate and Maintain previous electronic and paper corporate records

11. Assist Medical Records Coordinator with Legal requests and needs

12. Monitor documentation and video evidence of client incidents.

13. All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

1. Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline required Master’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent preferred.

2. Experience and knowledge in the field of mental health preferred.

3. Experience in accreditation and regulatory compliance preferred.
