Scope:Core responsibilities to include write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system

What you’ll do:Establish design principles for QA automation present options and recommendations as neededDesign and maintain the test automation frameworksDetermine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenariosWrite documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesDesign, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source toolsIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing productsLiaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirementsMonitor debugging process resultsInvestigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutionsTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect countsStay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

What we are looking for:BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech or MCA and minimum 5-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering of large and complex enterprise applications.Knowledge in Python/JavaExperience in testing Web Application or Cloud applications.Knowledge in TestNG/JUnit or JS (Jest/Jasmine/Mocha & Chai)Knowledge in Testing of RESTful web servicesProven work experience in software quality assuranceStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test casesHands-on experience with both white box and black box testingHands-on experience with automated testing toolsSolid knowledge of SQL and scriptingExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plusDemonstrates the ability to install and configure relevant products on all supported platforms in all supported configurationsWorks with development team to provide inputs to fix issues and possible solutions to problemsDemonstrates problem solving and innovation ability
