We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with +3years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our website by automating test cases and conducting performance testing. This will be a hybrid role and this person will need to be located in the Bay Area. Responsibilities Test Automation: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to test various functionalities of the website. Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework. Collaborate with the development team to identify test automation opportunities. API Testing:Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman to validate API endpoints and data exchange. Create and maintain API test suites. Performance Testing:
Design, develop, and execute performance tests using JMeter to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize the website's performance. Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement. Defect Tracking and Reporting:
Accurately document and report defects using a defect tracking system. Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and screenshots. Work closely with the development team to resolve defects. Test Planning and Design:
Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Requirements 3+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Proficiency in programming languages Java. Experience with API testing tools like Postman. Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 USD to $115,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits. #LI-HYBRID
