About This Opportunity We are hiring an Automation Engineer IV, to lead our Automation Engineering practice, who will be responsible for supporting the Encor team in aggressive Agile environments and delivering high quality software. We focus on career growth for our employees and innovation and performance with our technology. Responsibilities · Automate the regression test scenarios across multiple applications under the Encor platform. · Participate in testing efforts, automated and manual, on a cross-functional product team in an agile environment. · Build and contribute to an automation framework by creating/adding UI and API automated tests. · Assess risks and orchestrate appropriate test coverage to mitigate risks. · Collaborate on a tight-knit agile team; participate in daily stand-ups, estimating/planning, and retrospectives. · Perform session-based exploratory testing to understand the system and uncover problems. · Create and maintain Testing process documentation · Investigate and clearly report issues. · Support Production release validations which may sometimes occur outside of standard business hours. · Support developers, product teams, and customer-facing teams with troubleshooting assistance. · Examine failures and facilitate continuous improvement efforts within and across teams. · Provide value wherever possible, be driven to get things done. Qualifications · BS in Computer Science or related field · 10+ years with progressive QA experience · 5+ years of QA Automation with B2C and B2B UI and API, using any of the tools/languages like Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, RestAssured. · Experience with Oracle SQL queries and developing data driven testing. · Good understanding of testing Angular SPA applications with REST API architecture. · Technical background with excellent English-written and spoken skills. · High technical competency developing QA automation tests, regression, and smoke tests for UI and API applications and the ability and desire to learn new technical skills quickly. · Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. · Experience working with AWS. · Experience with Financial domain is preferred. · Ability to analyze testing requirements and design robust automation strategies. · Aptitude for identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions. · Willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in automation testing. · Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments. · Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers. · Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and manage project timelines effectively. · Focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. · Familiarity with DevOps practices. · In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
