As a QA Automation Specialist, you'll operate in lock-step with product management to create a clear strategic direction for build needs. You'll direct the team with a clear set of requirements captured as stories and collaborate to determine deliverables based on need.

As a QA Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and testcases

Maintaining automated testing procedures.

Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities

Designing, developing and executing automation and deployment scripts using open-source tools (Selenium, Cypress)

Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking bugs

Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet enterprise needs

Liaising with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

Monitoring debugging process results

Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Java – JSP, Servlets – 5 years of experience

Have Apache Tomcat app server

Have Apache httpd Webserver

Have Relational databases “SQL Server"

Have Data modeling

Have Microsoft reporting suite (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS)

Have Web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

Have Microsoft Azure Platform

Have Github, SVN code repositories

Have Tricentis Tosca

Have Azure Devops or Jira or Rally

Have proven work experience in software development

Have proven work experience in software quality assurance

Have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Have experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Have hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

Have solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

Have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Have experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
