What you'll do:

Western Alliance Bank is seeking passionate, results-driven QA/Automation Tester to deliver innovative, industry leading testing and automated testing solutions for our Corporate Trust applications. We want a creative, highly motivated tester who can take initiative, have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced, agile environment supporting our Corporate Trust teams. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the engineering team.

Key responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

Possess advanced programming skills, working in one or many automation harness solutionsMeeting with the software design team to discuss baseline and functional changesIdentifying software application weaknesses and target areasSketching out ideas for automated software test proceduresReviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areasParticipation in sprint design and demo practicesWriting automation scripts and implementing software applicationsDesigning and installing software databasesTroubleshooting automation software and finalizing system proceduresIdentifying quality issues and creating test reportsCollaborating with the design team to solve application faults

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.3+ years working as a QA automation engineer.Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and VBScript.Excellent analytical skills.Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Good project management skills
