JOB SUMMARY: 

The Quality Compliance Auditor is responsible for protecting assets by completing audits; ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls; and recommending improvements in internal control structure.

 

COMPENSATION: Range from $33,000/yr to $42,000/yr

Responsibilities

Primary Objectives:

Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak. Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growthPerforms audits of relevant charts, records, and reports for production lots to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirementsCreates databases and data summaries that enable effective decision-making for process improvementLeads or participates in the development and execution of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality programsEvaluates product holds for disposition, participates in company audits, and ensures accurate and timely release of finished product lotsPerforms tasks in compliance with all company standardsPerforms any other duties assigned or required by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and WordKnowledge of GMP Compliance standards in food and beverage manufacturingAbility to communicate and present to all levels of an organizationAbility to solve problems as a teamAbility to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive informationStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

 

Qualifications

Employment Requirements:

Degree in food science or related field or minimum of three years quality control and/or manufacturing experienceExperience with HACCP programs and/or ability to obtain certificationFDA Better Process School Certification or ability to obtain certificationPCQI Certification or ability to obtain certification
