About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our website. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test cases to identify and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Design and develop test scenarios and test cases to cover various aspects of the website, including functionality, usability, performance, and security. Test Execution: Execute test cases manually to identify and document defects. Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and optimal performance across different platforms and devices. Defect Tracking and Reporting: Accurately document and report defects using a defect tracking system. Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and screenshots. Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and improve the quality of the website. Test Automation: Collaborate with the automation team to identify suitable test cases for automation. Participate in the automation framework design and implementation. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Monitor website performance metrics and analyze trends. Security Testing: Participate in security testing activities to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities. Stay updated on the latest security best practices and tools.Required Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in manual testing of web applications. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Excellent knowledge of testing techniques, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing. Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
