QA Engineer
Insight Global is looking for a QA Engineer to join one of Canada's largest retailers, lululemon, on a 6-month contract for a multi-year program, located in Vancouver, BC, 3 days in office/week. As a QA Engineer on the SRE Edge Networks, you will work closely with the team and product owners to test and deploy new CDN, Security, and Performance-related infrastructure and configurations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTTP headers, cookies, DNS, WAF and bot security and will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our web-based products. We have a great team that works together to achieve goals cross-functionally, and you will interface with development, configuration management, program management, project managers, etc. Our team always looks for feedback from peers and management whenever possible. You will be empowered to request and participate in team meetings, understand & review the current technical risks and engage with team members to work towards common goals. Asset creation is something that lululemon values. Create and maintain test cases and test plans
Execute manual and automated tests
Identify, report, and track bugs and issues
Collaborate with the development team to ensure product quality
Understand and analyze HTTP headers and cookies to ensure proper functionality
Understand and analyze DNS to ensure appropriate configuration and security
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
Understand and analyze bot security and WAF to ensure proper configuration
Understand and analyze Akamai, Cloudflare and other CDN to ensure proper configuration
