You and your role

As a Pega QA Engineer in our organization, you will spearhead our FEC initiatives, driving the quality and implementation of Pega-based solutions. You will have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our systems and processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business and tech stakeholders and developers, to deliver state-of-the-art systems that enhance operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include among others: 

Ensure Quality is considered in every step of the DevOps way of working;  

Create/maintain a stable Test Automation framework together with the DevOps Engineers;

Mentoring and guiding (a) team(s) of Pega DevOps Engineers to create/maintain the Test Automation Framework and Test Data;  

Determine Test Scenarios and Test Coverage including Pega Unit Test Cases, API-, DXI-, and UI- Testing;

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives; 

Conducting thorough system testing, identifying, preventing, and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability; 

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Quality Assurance updates, bringing innovative ideas to the table;

Assist with the root cause analysis and follow-up on issues in our system and the platform it runs on;  

Assist in preparing and executing performance/load/penetration tests;

Align with stakeholders to plan and execute a UATs; 

Transparently report the status and results of the tests and being able to advise on the next steps. 

You and your skills 

Proven experience as a Pega QA Engineer, working on complex projects and handling end-to-end implementations;

Strong expertise in QA in combination with Pega PRPC, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing Pega solutions; 

Great vision on the way of working in a DevOps environment;

Proficiency in system integration, web services, and API tesing;

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and provide innovative solutions;

Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to bring along people in the QA vision. 

 
Experience in/with

Structured test methods and processes (ISTQB, TMap); 

Robot Framework, Selenium/Browser Library; 

Context Driven, Exploratory and/or Concurrent Testing; 

Interface testing (REST/SOAP); 

Pega; 

Azure DevOps tooling; 

Knowledge of AD (Active Directory) and ADFS is a pre.
