About the Role:
We are adding a Quality Assurance Engineer to our Tech team!

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Snapsheet, you are a solver - building test systems and processes that will improve what we have in place currently and prevent issues proactively.  You thrive in an environment where you are working with a team of software developers, QAs, and designers in a fast-paced, agile development environment. You enjoy identifying any potential quality issues through system testing and acceptance testing on various Snapsheet features.  Additionally, as a QA Engineer, you accelerate the delivery and maintain the high quality of Snapsheet products as they continue to grow and expand.

What you’ll do as a Quality Assurance Engineer:

Review and understand product specifications and feature requirementsCreate test plans and test strategiesDesign and develop automated test suites; working cross-functionally with developers and product managers to inform decisions on what, how, and when to automateDevelop, document, and maintain functional and regression test cases and other test artifactsTest execution and results tracking on planned test cases, exploratory tests, and ad hoc testsIssue triage, resolution and preventionIsolating, replicating, and reporting defects while verifying defect fixesDefect submission, tracking, and communication to team membersEscalating potential quality issues immediately to team and management when neededProviding QA reporting including test status and defect statusEnsure all deliverables meet functional and design requirements and technical specsPerform various testing include:New feature/product release candidate testingExisting feature enhancement testingNew mobile build testingRegression testingNon-functional testingLoad/Stress testing to uncover potential performance and scalability bottlenecksBehavior under constraints (browser type, screen resolution, network performance, etc)SecurityAccessibility
 

What we are looking for in a Quality Assurance Engineer:

B.S. or higher degree in related fields3+ years of experience working with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)Proficient in one or more programming languages (Ruby and JavaScript preferred)Familiar with project management tools (Jira, Confluence), version control systems (Git, GitHub), and test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail).Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)Understanding of quality assurance methods and testing principlesExperience in software testing environments for web-based products and/or mobile applicationsGood self-learner and self-motivator who takes initiative and thrives in an autonomous environmentExcellent communication skills – both written and verbalAbility to multitask in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Experience with non-functional testing tools (e.g., Grafana k6, JMeter) a major plusFamiliarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and AWS Cloud infrastructure a plus
