Job Description

As a QA Engineer at D42, you'll build, and implement test automation frameworks. You possess excellent problem-solving skills, and a diverse set of technical skills both in software testing and automation coding. You will be able to dive into many aspects of our technical product, strategize on how to automate and test new or legacy features and functionality and provide support for the ongoing quality of said features/functionality. You will be a self starter, and look for improvements in our processes.

What you'll do: 

Takes initiative to implement test automation efforts, performs as a productive  team playerResponsible for  maintaining test automation frameworks solutions and automated test scriptsReviews requirement specifications and technical design documents to create test scripts and test plansParticipate in design and code inspectionsExecute manual testing, as neededAnalyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate with stakeholdersMaintained existing automated regression test suiteVersatile test automation skillset and techniques in Web, API, Data Feeds

Qualifications5+ years experience in testing toolsets/frameworks such as: Selenium WebDriver, Test Frameworks:  Data-Driven, BDD: Cucumber/Gherkin Experience with Nodejs, Groovy, Python, Shell, DockerDemonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including the following: build/deploy/version control tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, GitHub)Proven work experience in software development as it pertains to test and toolsStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test casesGood time management skillsSolid knowledge of SQL and scriptingExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processKnowledge of networking, IT infrastructureExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $112,000 — $168,600 USD + Variable Compensation (where applicable)

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
