QA Engineer II

SEI has a challenging career opportunity for a QA Engineer II. This position requires a foundation of business knowledge in the financial services industry, and the ability to work in an Agile team environment. The candidate should be adaptable, possess experience in Wealth Management, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements

What you will do:

Build test cases and leverage existing automation for implementation of testing of loadersBuild test cases and leverage existing automation for implementation of testing of APIsWrite test cases for QA Test Phase by:Using  JIRA to investigate functionalityUse Confluence to learn about new functionalityAttend demos if necessarySupport failures of Automation in QA Test PhaseWrite or update QA cases in TestRail (these are regression test cases)Submit defectsRetest fixed defectsAnalyze any warranty issues to make changes to existing functionsImplement process improvements to ensure less warranty issues in future PSIsAssist in execution of manual test cases as neededReview and rewrite manual test cases in preparation of automationSend management daily reporting for statusesReview and correct defects for Correct RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

What we need from you:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or relevant work experienceA minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing or Project ManagementPrevious experience using API and UI Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, Postman and  Playwrite, PytestExperience in release management within a financial services and/or outsourcing environment is a plusAbility to be credible in communications with internal partners, executive personnel and clientsStrong Microsoft Applications preferred
