You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should be a strong ‘utility’ type analyst with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, EST Team Leads, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel.
What you will do:
Develop and execute automated tests for various web applications, based on requirements from user stories and automation leadsParticipate and lead code and design reviews to ensure that the automation deliverables adhere to the project requirements guidelinesIdentify issues with existing automation scripts and implement solutionsResponsible for documenting, testing and validating defects resulting from automation regression testingDesign and develop parts of an automation framework to test the SEI Wealth Platform (“SWP”).Support developers implementing automation frameworkCreate SQL queries and procedures to support Automation testing and developmentEnhance existing Angular and Java based test execution platformsAssist with managing testing environments on Windows based desktop and virtual machineWork with defect management tools such as Rally, Automation tools such as Test Complete and source control tools such as GITAdheres to QA concepts and practices.What we need from you:
Bachelor’s degree BS (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.Experience working with languages such as SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java.Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems and softwareExperience working with test automation tools such as Test Complete and Selenium is a plus.Knowledge of software testing best practicesKnowledge of Angular and TypeScript is a plusWhat we would like from you:
