At Applied Materials, our innovations make possible the technology shaping the future. Roles and Responsibilities:Strong testing skills in both manual and automated test.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testingReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents.Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesBreak-down requirements and develop test cases   Programming / scripting knowledge to automateEnsure software quality by adapting best practices of Regression testingDevelops software test documentation.Troubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.Ability to work independently.Guide / Mentor QA team members.Strong analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skillsShows agility and flexibility in taking assignments.Thrives in a collaborative work environment.Designs general test plan, test cases, system test.Identifies areas of testing that can be automated      and increases automation testing coverage.Performs software tests and reports outcomes.
