What you’ll do
* Partner closely with product management, UX and Dev team to identify, scope, estimate work for team.
* Contribute to POCs and perform quantitative and qualitative technology comparisons.
* Be part of a highly motivated team involved in design, develop and maintain automation script for the security business group.
* Mentor junior engineers to produce their best work.
What You'll Deliver
* Define UI and API automation strategy for the application in collaboration with development, product and QA teams
* Identifying test cases and test scenarios, from the requirements
* Writing, and maintaining Automation test scripts with the aim to carry out automation test runs as part of CI/CD
* Execute and monitor automated test cases, report bugs and share reports
* investigating problems in software as a result of testing
* Enhancement of existing regression scripts
* Implement CI/CD pipelines to run the automation test suites with the development code deployment and nightly
* Identify the need for new automation tools and work toward the creation of a better ecosystem which promotes automation first strategy
* Able to carry out execute a QA program independently
* Evaluate and setup framework/tool appropriate for any projects
* Able to communicate with different stake holders
Who You Are
* Strong experience in automation testing using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or WebDriver IO
* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes with an Understanding the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Models - AGILE, Sprint, etc.
* Strong grip on programming concepts with expertise in a programming language like JavaScript, Python or Java (JavaScript/Typescript preferred)
* Experience in writing test automation scripts and a good understanding of standard automation frameworks
* Experience in Test suite optimization for coverage, efficiency, and execution
* Knowledge of CI tools like Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, and related build deployment processes
* Hands-on experience in API Testing (HTTP and RESTful web services) and API automation tools
* Working experience in database testing with various databases like SQL/MongoDB, etc.
* Nice to have Performance Testing Experience with Jmeter
