Responsibilities

Job Summary: 

As a QA Engineer, you will be assigned to a Product Team and will be responsible for testing and validating the functionality of all User Stories from the team according to the requirements. A person in this role is expected to be proficient in navigating Salesforce Marketing Cloud and comprehensive understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud terminology.  A QA Engineer is a self-motivated driven individual as well as a team player.  


Responsibilities:

Write Test CasesPerform regular reviews of existing test cases and update as neededPerform unit, functional and weekly regression testingEnsure that acceptance criteria is clearly communicated and documentedAttend and participate in scrum ceremoniesCollaborate with other members of the QA and DevOps TeamWrite Test PlansSecurity Testing - both positive and negative testingFind and escalate defectsEffectively communicate with multiple roles within the team from Developer, Admin, Architect, Product Manager and moreBe an advocate and voice for our QA policies and procedures within your teamProactively identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in our processes and proceduresContribute to the update of test cases in our automated testing toolsProvide support to other QA Engineers when necessary

Complexity of Work: 

The role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Ability to quickly adapt to changes in assigned work and/or assigned product/projectCollaboration with multiple cross-functional team members and stakeholders, which requires excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

A demonstrated ability to understand, articulate, and question complex requirements.Experience in a Healthcare setting preferredPrevious experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferredUnderstanding of Salesforce products and their functionalityBachelor’s degree preferredBusiness or Computer Science degree preferred

Work Experience

2 years of software quality assurance experience required1 year of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience requiredMarketing Cloud Admin Certification preferredJIRA experience required
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
